One of the biggest questions I get over and over when I am working with clients in my Food Allergy Coaching is “What on earth is left for me to eat when I’m allergic to so many things?”
My biggest tip: Always always make a list of everything that you CAN eat… NOT a list of the things you can’t.
Once you have a list of all of the things that are available to you, you can start focusing on all of the amazingly healthy things that are left.
A good way to do this is to start with my list of the 70 Best Allergy-Friendly SuperFoods. Print it off and then go through the list with a fine-tooth comb. Cross off any super-foods that are not safe for you, then live it up big with all of the ones that are left.
My guess is that even if you have a long list of food allergies, this list below will still leave you with a huge list of things you can eat to your heart’s desire. And the best part is:
… every food on this list is a SuperFood …
You are actually doing something beneficial for your body as you are eating them.
And guess what? Most SuperFoods have NO LABELS TO READ!! No manufacturing lines to invite cross-contamination. No packaging plant to allow for minute traces of unsafe ingredients. Most of these foods come straight from the ground and are fresh and ready, as-is, for a feast.
So… here you go. Print it off. Cross out what you cannot eat. And learn to LOVE all of the amazingly healthy things that YOU CAN!!!
Oh…and p.s… Buy organic whenever possible. 😉
