Are you passionate about learning how to eat pure?
Do you want simple recipes that will help you to incorporate whole, natural, colorful foods into your meals?
Are you ready to have an easy way to add cancer-kicking vitamins and minerals, phytochemicals, heart-healthy fats and oils, fiber, and age-reversing antioxidants to your daily diet?
If you answered yes to any of the above three questions, then I have a perfect cookbook for you.
According to Hallie Klecker, author of The Pure Kitchen and Daily Bites Blog, this cookbook is jam-packed with:
- Simple ways to successfully transition to a whole foods diet
- A guide to stocking the pure kitchen
- Lessons in label-reading and easily avoiding gluten and dairy
- Tips for menu planning, shopping, and charming the palates of picky eaters
- 100 scrumptious recipes free of gluten, dairy, and refined sugar
I have to tell you that, although I only have had this book for a few weeks, it already has the look of a well-loved cooking tool. It has fingerprints and smudges on it and post-it notes hanging out from the sides for dishes that I have already made and then for the ones that I will be making soon.
I have tried quite a few of these recipes already. Each one has really been amazing and just full of whole natural foods.
And all of the baking recipes are loaded with whole grains instead of just starchy flours…just how I like them. It is exactly how I do my baking, so this book fits seamlessly into my kitchen.
Recently, I made the Apple Snack Cakes with Oatmeal Topping. These were devoured promptly. The kids loved them (as did my husband and I). They were a great healthy start to the day and I had to restrain the boys from eating too many at one sitting.
I also whipped up the Pumpkin Oatmeal Breakfast Clusters. I made them to bring as a snack for a family outing we took a couple of weeks ago. I figured a few would get eaten on the trek and then we would be able to save the rest for part of our breakfasts during the week.
Apparently I underestimated how much my family would like them. They were almost gone before we even pulled the car back into the driveway on that first day.
There was no way I could complain though. These babies are loaded with the good stuff: oats, raisins, walnuts, flax meal, and pumpkin puree, just to name a few ingredients.

I found Daily Bites, that looks good too, and is one I didnt have before, thank you.
This would be a great book for my family because we found out a year ago that we are all gluten and casein intolerant after over a decade of all five of us experiencing different life altering symptoms including a heart condition, severe skin rashes, intense headaches, and neurological dysfunction which all seem to either have completely resolved or become less debilitating since giving up gluten and casein.
At the end of July this year, because of my health issues, I needed to switch to a mostly vegan diet while still trying to make food that my family would eat.
I am taking it one recipe at a time 😉
A wide range of family illnesses have pushed us into awareness of so many issues and we are now on a hunt for the best options for us all.
I’d love to have a copy of Hallie’s cookbook. I’ve read her blog for a long time. Her Grain-Free Granola Balls are a staple in our house. I already follow her on Facebook.

Not only do I have a huge and varied set of allergies but I’m a holistic nutritionist with several clients who either by choice or fate are gluten- dairy- egg- sugar free and trying to live a more wholesome lifestyle, and many of whom are inexperienced in the kitchen – this would be a JOY to have in my arsenal!

To feed my family healthier options without giving up the “YUM” factor.
Cooking lost some of its draw when I had to start cutting out a variety of ingredients for my boys (ages 8 & 10): wheat, dairy, dyes, HFCS (ok, well that one was easy). I’d love some new sure-hit recipes to put the joy back in cooking (and eating) in our home! Especially with a new little one coming in December/January. He’s going to start out eating right so he doesn’t have to get used to something new when he’s older!
I want to change our way of eating/life to a healthier way. this could help. Thanks for the opportunity.

I would love to get my hands on this book! I’m always looking for more ideas to help incorporate more whole foods (and less processed stuff) into everyday meals. We did the Unprocessed October Challenge (almost done!) and our eyes were opened big time. We thought we were doing so well before… We’ve started meal planning for the last 2 months or so as well, so we’re really new at that. Other than just sitting down & thinking about what we might like to eat for the week… there’s gotta be more to it than that! Eek- help!
I would love to win this cookbook so I can get new ideas for cooking healthy.

I just “liked” Daily Bites on Facebook. So cool.
This looks like a great cookbook. “Simple” “easy” and “whole foods” were the words that caught my interest. The thing that appeals most is the idea of learning “simple ways to successfully transition to a whole foods diet.” I have been trying to do that for a while, and it’s not been simple given a busy work and family life. I do believe that the foods we eat, or don’t eat, affect our bodies ability to fight disease, so I would also love an “easy way to add cancer-kicking vitamins and minerals, phytochemicals, heart-healthy fats and oils, fiber, and age-reversing antioxidants to your daily diet.” Thanks for this opportunity.
Pure Kitchen would be a great addition to my kitchen to help me get out of a “routine gluten-free recipe rut”!!!
Cooking and baking with whole foods and as ‘clean’ as possible, is my goal. I’m a little bored with my current recipes and would love to have some new inspiration — thanks for the chance to win!
I already follow cook it on facebook 🙂
I ‘liked’ daily bites on facebook 🙂
This would be perfect because I’m always looking for new recipes, and ones that are already allergy-free and don’t need any adapting would make things even easier for me!
I liked Daily Bites.
I liked Cook It Allergy Free too. Thanks!
This would be perfect for me because I don’t have a gluten free cookbook yet.
I would love to win this cookbook! After just having a baby and trying to eat healthier to get back in shape, this would be a great way to help that process. Eating healthy and gluten free can sometimes be a struggle (regardless of what people think who do it as a fad diet). My brain is at a loss of new recipes lately and I would love to try this book. Thanks for the chance to try out this cookbook! I’m crossing my fingers!
I recently realized that being vegetarian and gluten-free doesn’t automatically mean that I am eating a sound diet (the fact that Cheezies were regularly on my grocery list should have been a clue, yes?). I am trying to eat – and feed my family – a more balanced, nutrient-dense diet. Would love a chance at this book!
This looks fantastic! I am always looking for new ways to get my kids to eat good healthy food.
I cook gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free (which for me means migraine-free), and I love trying new recipes for my family!

With a growing family, chalk full of food intolerances such as gluten, dairy, soy, egg, cane sugar, (and the list goes on and on), it is so important for me to be inspired/helped with a great cookbook in the whole foods lifestyle as I am so overwhelmed.
I would love a copy of your cookbook to help give my 2 daughters their best chance in having a wheat intolerance.
I absolutely love the cover of this book. Whoever designed it hit on everything that is appealing to me. It’s a beautiful book! I already like, love and think both of you are wonderful. Don’t enter me as I ordered the book already, but just wanted to mention how much I love the looks of this book. Covers get me! This is a good one. =)

My family just tested intolerant to gluten, dairy, soy, sugar, eggs and garlic. I am finding it hard to cook for my family. Any helpful cookbooks would be great.
Aside from multiple food allergies, I also have candida…trying to heal my gut up and get healthy after 7 years of being sick! This would be SO helpful…and a wonderful blessing!
I have been doing a total lifestyle makeover. Quit smoking, getting into shape as well as changing the how, what and when of the foods I eat. No gluten, dairy or refined sugars. I also have been experimenting with raw foods. Since I have started on this journey…………………….I lost weight, feel better and have more energy.
I am a diabetic and I am changing the way I eat. I am working very hard to only eat whole foods. I am always looking for excellent recipes to bring into my new lifestyle of eating healthy. I have 3 Grandchildren that have severe allergies to several types of foods especially nuts. That’s how I found you to begin with because of my Grandkids. I posted on your Facebook page about that awhile ago. I love to cook instead of eating out because I think when you make your own food you know what your getting nutritionally.
I am a huge fan and I would love a copy of your cookbook!
Thank you
This book would be absolutely perfect for my family. Not only do my 3 toddlers have dairy, egg, wheat and peanut allergies, but so does my husband, and I have dairy and wheat intolerances. From what I can see this not only elminates allergens from our daily diet, but it also helps with immune boosting which is absolutely paramount for me as my twins were born premature at 27 weeks and as a result their immune systems, amongst other things, were compromised. I can’t wait to get my hands on this book and start baking/cooking. I have liked the above Facebook pages accordingly! Go well!
I would love this book, i’m always looking for new recipes for my family’s complicated restrictions.
I follow Daily Bites on Facebook!
Already a liker of Cook IT Allergy Free.
Now a liker of Daily Bites as well on Facebook.
I would LOVE this cookbook as I have a 13 month old daughter with dairy/soy allergy plus other intolerances(banana etc). With a family history of no allergies or intolerances I have never had to deal with these issues and I’m finding it hard to find recipes and learn about all these issues.
I follow Cook It Allergy Free and Daily Bites. My son is sick and your cookbook would be so useful to help him deal with food allergies and intolerances and eating.
This book would be perfect for me because I am a new mommy struggling to contain my baby boy’s allergies and eczema… and I refuse to give up.
Hi, I guess I’m too late for the giveaway, but Good Work! I have long been looking for gluten-free recipes — especially yummy stuff for that “little something” between meals when a carrot stick just won’t do. I have yet to organize my time (with a sick husand and mother to look after) to try some of your recipes, but they look wonderful! Just doing a cheer from here 😀
Thank you so much, Ruth, for the kind words. They truly mean a lot. I hope that soon your family is healthy again and that you have some time to play in the kitchen! 😉
Hi,
because of my intolerances (no wheat, dairy, refined sugar, red meat or caffeine) I’ve struggled to come up with variety in my diet and this awesome book would really help me:)
