Heidi, you are doing something so special for you boys. They will definitely have special memories of cooking with you. Kurt always teases me because I am so focused on making sure that I am creating memories for my boys! I want them to remember back to their childhood and think how "fun" I was, LOL!!! Good luck with the Tapioca!! :0)

I was JUST looking for a dairy-free tapioca pudding recipe KIm! Ya know, the only tapioca pudding I have ever had, came in a plastic cup, LOL!

My mom did not enjoy cooking nor did she have the patience to allow my sisters and I to make a mess in the kitchen when we were growing up. It makes me sad that I do not have those memories of learning to cook with my mom, but I am now making new ones with my boys. :0)

Thanks for the recipe Kim, I can't wait to make it!

Growing up tapioca was not something my family ate, but we did eat pudding a lot. And we always ate it hot with a little milk poured over it to cool it off. Even cold, my family has always liked it with milk. Wonderful post!

Well now, between you and Lauren, plus my own childhood memories of tapioca pudding, it seems high time I made some! If I'm lucky, maybe one or two of my family members won't like it . . . then I won't feel guilty when I eat their serving! ;)
